Today’s short ride will end at Paul Larson’s house with an informal celebration of the December 2003 founding of Cactus Cycling Club. The club is planning the “official 20th Anniversary celebration” later in Spring 2024 in conjunction with the Annual Meeting.
We’ll be riding from the start in the Coronado K-8 school parking lot (at the traffic light on the corner of Oracle and Wilds roads), proceeding up Oracle Rd to Saddlebrooke Blvd and then back on nice smooth roads.
We’ll end the ride at Paul Larson’s house for snacks, cake, soda/water, and pizza – which is in the Black Horse neighborhood very near the start. (Rumors are that 20 yr member Roberta Toussaint may bring sangria as well!) Paul has plenty of space for bikes on the side yard which is secure while we relax and toast Cactus' 20 years existence and our cycling friends after on the patio. If you’d just rather drive to the house for the goodies, see the address and hyperlink below and join us about 11 AM. Park on the street or Paul’s driveway.
