  • We are primarily offering B level rides (15-18 mph) at this time.   A and C riders are welcome to join rides at their own pace and join the post ride social event.
  • You must be a member to register for a ride.  It is recommended that you login to register but it is not required.

    This ride targets the 49er Country Club, the only club where Jack Nicklaus played competitively in Tucson (in 1963 and 1964) and also includes the McCartney Ranch, Reddington Pass, and a rest stop at the desert oasis in Aqua Caliente Park.  Socialize afterwards at Starbucks.

    The Saddlebrook Loop Ride...   Ride with GPS map


    Note the new start time for March Wednesday rides!

    The ride will go out to Saddlebrooke via Tangerine, Innovation, Rancho  Vistoso, Oracle and Eagle Crest Ranch Roads.   Then up the hills on Saddlebrooke and Catalina Hills Rds, then wander through the back part of Saddlebrooke on nice smooth roads.   A stop at the store, then return.  We will return via Clubhouse Dr and Edwin Rd. to Columbus and Twin Lakes Rd.

    The Marana Ride...   Ride with GPS Map


    Tangerine Rd. has reached a point where we feel comfortable leading rides through it again!

    Head north on La Canada.  Take Tangerine down through the construction (new bike lane!) to Mandarina.  Then Adonis Rd., PostVale rd etc to Moore Rd.  Left on Tangerine, make a bathroom, water and snack stop at Gladden Park in Marana.   Then continue on the bikepath to Cortaro Rd, and use Cortaro, Thornydale, Cactus Canyon, Shannon and Naranja to get back to our start.

    Starting in Bisbee, this ride takes us on a beautiful loop around the town.  Bisbee is a former copper mining town and is now a well-known artist's community with plenty of architectural and historic heritage

    The West Side Hills Ride...   Ride with GPS Map

    Ride Description: The west side hills ride will take the bike path south and head out to Sunset Rd.   We will take Sunset to the top, then go over and ride Camino del Cerro to the top.  Lots of rolling hills, with regroups at the top of each road to enjoy the nice views.   There is the option of doing some of the hills and turning around as the front group comes down.

    Join us for our Annual Party and Meeting that will include a paid pizza luncheon and raffle prizes.  A short Annual Meeting will be held after the party to elect new Board members for 2026.

    You are welcome to bring a guest(s) for a cost of $10 per person.  You can add a guest(s) during registration and pre-pay.

    There will be pre-party rides that you can register for separately.

    Ride to and through the scenic roads in Dove Mountain.

    The ride will head out south along La Canada, then Magee to Cortaro to Silverbell, then Coachline, Twin Peaks (across the I-10 overpass and Tangerine Rd).  Next it's up and over the hill on Dove Mt. with a stop for water and restrooms at the park at the very end of Dove Mt. road.   Return up and over Dove Mtn, then west along Moore Road and south on La Canada Rd back to the start.

    Tangerine west to Twin Peaks, then the loop bikepath (crossing over at La Canada) with a stop at mile 24 at Rillito River Park.   Then up Via Entrada and then Christie to the top and then down the Magee hill, and then back to Brueggers' via Northern, OV country club, and the bike path to Naranja.

    The Kitt Peak Event Ride...   Ride with GPS map 

    Today we tackle the ascent of Kitt Peak, a 12-mile climb.  Kitt Peak is rated as the third hardest climb in Arizona and 130th in the US.   Meet at the 386 turnoff in the dirt parking lot.

    Socialize with a tailgate party after the ride.

    • The nearest food is 15 miles East at the Three Points intersection at the junction of 286.
    • Add 30 miles by starting your ride at Three Points and meeting the group at the official start.
    • The 12-mile climb averages 5.7%.  34% of the climb is between 0 and 5%,  60% is between 5 and 10%, and the steepest section is 8.7% (see below).

    This ride on Marsh and Old Sonoita roads takes in the historic Cienega Creek bridge, two train bridges, the Agua Verde Castle and a new stretch of pavement on old Sonoita Road.  It is delightful rolling out and back on a traffic-free roads with newer pavement.

    Starting in Oracle, this ride takes us to San Manuel, once the site of the largest copper mine in North America.  San Manuel was built in the 1950s by the Del E. Webb Construction Company to house workers for the San Manuel copper mine, mill, and smelter.

    Starting in Amado, this ride takes us to the delightful small town of Arivaca, with panoramic mountain views and some of Arizona's best birding and wildlife.  

    70-mile option: continue to the 286 intersection.

    Socialize after at Longhorn Grill and Saloon.
