    Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup

A fun social time and a very good cause. If you are new to this, please give it a try – the more the merrier, and the faster it will go.

Coffee and Bagels available at 8:30 AM – we start walking at 9 AM

Trash bags, vests, and disposable gloves will be provided – please bring your own pick-up grabbers if you have them; jeans and hiking boots recommended. Bring friends, but please be older than 16, and prefer no dogs. We will have a gift card for the most bizarre trash item found.

One group will cover the left side of the highway starting from the shopping center and going north, then loop back at Harrison Rd to walk southbound to cover the other side of the highway. A second group will drive to Harrison Rd, pickup along the left side until reaching Houghton Rd, then loop back walking southbound to cover the other side of the highway. This keeps everyone “facing traffic” as we walk.

There will be a Pima Country waiver form available on-site.
