A do-able Lemmon Hour Hill Climb is probably 2-3 weeks away. I'll check the road and post this ride when it becomes safe up to at least Seven Cataracts (just before Mile 9).
In short, at least at 11AM, the painting involves chaperoned guide vehicles, long traffic lines and paint dust at the huge paint truck. It poses various dangers for cyclists, even though there were plenty maneuvering around all of it. Not for a club ride I think. 8:30 is not going to be much different.
The route up to Ba'ad Do'ag is completely finished and well short of the traffic line-up that starts at about Mile 4. The truck was at about Mile 5 and is pretty obviously working its way up, day by day. So please consider the Consolation Ride, same day, time and place. To be posted by Friday evening.
